Firefighters spent Thursday night putting out a Grass Valley house fire that left a Lloyd Street family homeless. Crews with the Grass Valley Fire Department and Nevada County Consolidated Fire District were called to 221 Lloyd St. at 6:42 p.m. after the Emergency Command Center received a 911 call, a California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection dispatcher said.
