Kudos to: Consolidated Fire District

We wish to express our appreciation to all the people who make Nevada County Consolidated Fire District such an effective fire protection system. Our special thanks go to the dedicated professionals and volunteers who responded Sept. 15 and saved our home from the fire that consumed our garage. We're constantly mindful of how much more we would have lost if not for their rapid response.
We encourage our neighbors throughout the county to support our firefighters. When you need them, those big red trucks rolling up your driveway are the most wonderful sight in the world. They will always have our deepest gratitude.
