After being closed by a deadly shooting Jan. 10, Nevada County's Behavioral Health office in Nevada City, will reopen Tuesday morning, the county announced in a prepared statement released Friday.
In response to questions about the status of client services at the Health, Education and Welfare Building in Nevada City, the county released a schedule for the resumption of services for Behavioral Health and other offices.
All Behavioral Health services, including day treatment, will be available and security personnel will be on site. Limited doctor/client sessions will also be available beginning Tuesday.
Behavioral Health clients can reach counselors on the 24-hour crisis hot line at 265-5811. For prescription service, clients can call 265-1437.
Children's services, case management and drug and alcohol services at the Behavioral Health are fully operational.
All services at the HEW's Community Health Department are available.
The Housing and Community Services Department has been relocated to Rood Administrative Center until further notice, and limited walk-in services are available.
Energy assistance and Section 8 services are available by calling 265-1388, and an application box is in the Rood Center lobby.
The HEW's Elections and Buildings and Grounds departments are fully operational, according to the prepared statement.
