A 21-year-old man was injured when his motorcycle hit a GMC Suburban on Brunswick Road near Grass Valley Tuesday, according to Nevada County Consolidated Fire District.
Mike Peasley was on his Honda traveling south on Brunswick Road from the Glenbrook Basin when his motorcycle hit the vehicle, said Randall Gross, an engineer with Nevada County Consolidated. The emergency call came at 7:20 p.m., he said.
Peasley was transported by ambulance to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital with head scratches and road rashes, Gross said.
As of 8 p.m. Tuesday, Peasley had not yet been evaluated, an SNMH supervising nurse said.
The California Highway Patrol and the Ophir Hill Fire Protection District also responded.
