The Fill the Boot for Burns drive raised $13,900 for the Pacific Burn Institute, Grass Valley Fire Chief Hank Weston said Thursday.

Grass Valley, Nevada County Consolidated, 49er, Penn Valley, Rough and Ready and Higgins firefighters collected the money at businesses Saturday.
