Sylvia came to us several months ago, after being boarded by a fellow rescuer for over eight months at a vet's kennels. Sylvia (known only as Momma to the staff) became a little stir crazy after her kittens were adopted and she spent day after day in a small cage. Frustration and boredom turned her normal spitfire personality into hostility and kept her from finding a new home. We couldn't stand the thought of her being cooped up indefinitely, so we took her (and gave her a more dignified name). She played non-stop for about two weeks before settling down and blending in with the group. Sylvia is a bit of a loner around the other cats, but retained her spunk as well as a unique and charming personality. She is gorgeous, people friendly and very independent.
