The making of the Yamaha RD250/350LC series began in 1980. These bikes were the first Liquid Cooled RD's, setting the pattern for the later RZ models. The RD350LC (1982 model shown above)
is reed valve inducted with a 6 speed transmission. Their manueverability and speed made them a popular choice for motorcycle enthusiasts. Due to emissions controls, these bikes were not sold in the United States.
