NAKSANSA - KOREA
Naksansa is located between Mt. Soraksan and Naksan Provincial Park near the Naksan Beach. It was built by a revered Buddhist monk named Uisangdaesa in Year 6 (676 AD) of King Munmu of Silla Kingdom. Inside the temple there is the Seven Floor Stone Tower, Dongjong, Hongyaemun Gate, Hongnyeonam Hermitage, a bronze bell , and other cultural assets. Mt. Naksan is crowned by the Buddhist statue of Haesugwaneumsang, which stands 16m high on a 2.8m high pedesta .
