Install Pics
A lot of time, money, sleepless nights and patience was involved to get the best result possible. Thanks to the guys @ StereoLand, the install came out PERFECT!
Amp Rack
This odd looking piece of 3/4' MDF and masonite is the amp rack before all the goodies were added. |
|
Mirror plexi-glass was heated and bent to conform to the shape of the amp rack. Audiobahn Amps were mounted.
With the amp rack in place, a 1/4' plexi glass was bent and sand blasted with the Audiobahn Logo for cosmetics.
The finished amp rack is highlighted with a purple neon light which makes it look awesome at night. |
Enclosure
This is the fiber glass cover for the Sub Box, it was the messiest part of the install.
More of the fiber glass work. This stuff is very itchy, so wear protective gear when working with this type of material.
To maintain the factory looks ( yeah right ) we used grey vinyl to color match the car.
Here you can see a pair of Audiobahn Alum 12 subs and the custom triangular plexi-glass port.
The finished product. | |
This piece is one of a kind. 3/4' plexi-glass routed and the tubes are 1/4' plexi-glass as well.
This is the main source. An Eclipse 5504 HU without the bottom pocket. |
