Confusion
My heart cannot decide
Who to love and who to despise
Do I love you?
Does my heart crave you?
Or is this just a new infatuation
To leave my sight in a blink of an eye
Is what I'm feeling real or just a figure of my imagination?
Do you love me?
Is what we're feeling true or do our feelings perceive us
Are we to be or are we doomed from the start
Are we lying to ourselves are we in love or do we just wish to be
Do we even try or are we too afraid to take a chance
Should we try and face the consequences
Or do we hold in our feelings and never take a chance
But if we do, do we know what really could have been
Will the fire burn and the magic sparkle
Or will the fire die and the magic leave
Are we to be?
Please God lord of all lords
Tell me, is my confusion for nothing
Or will good come out of my suffering
Will I ever be happy, will I ever find Mr. Right
Or did I cast him away because I was afraid
Will my confusion end
Help me find my true love
So I may once in my life be truly happy
