Vampire Marks
There are four stages involved in the process to making a human servant. A human
servant will live as long as the vampire does. So the human servant not only provides
lifelong companionship but can also be a great source of power for the vampire. Their
bond allows them to share all powers If a vampire forces the marks to make a human
servant, it can be very painful, kind of like rape. A person can be only one vampires human
servant and their bond's so strong that in most cases if one is killed the other dies. For that
same reason human servants are sacred, no vampire can harm another's servant.
The first mark:
This mark gives the human the ability to heal faster, they become
tougher, harder to kill. They also can meet vampires in the eyes without being caught. For
the vampire, it gives them the beginning of their psychic connection.
The second mark:
With this mark the vampire can gain nourishment through the
servant. The vampire also has limited telepathic powers with the servant, mostly through
dreams. For the servant there isn't much more gained.
The third mark:
This mark is given when the vampire takes blood from the servant. The
vampire now has direct telepathic communication with the servant. The servant gains
more strength, stamina, resistance to injury, immunity to disease and poison. They gain
almost all powers without having to give up their humanity.
The fourth mark:
For this mark the human servant takes blood from the vampire. Part of
the ceremony, "Blood of my blood, flesh of my flesh, two minds with but one body, two
souls wedded as one." The servant and the vampire are now bonded for life.
