Love
For some the word love is, well just a word,
And from their lips it often is heard.
For me love is more than a casual feeling,
It's an emotion that sends me reeling.
Some say that love is a fluttering heart,
But I think that love has another part.
Love is also a way of thinking,
That saves you when you're emotionally sinking.
Love is when someone is always on mind,
And to them you always will be kind.
If you think that love is marked by a kiss,
My point you surely did miss.
Love requires your heart, mind, and soul,
It requires you as a whole.
Love is not something to just give away,
But should be saved for the one who will one day,
Be your spouse.
