Tremere Antitribu

Nickname: Spellbinders

Why are they antitribu? At the founding of the Tremere Clan, there were three important men: Tremere, and his students/flunkies Etrius and Goratrix. The two apprentices hated each other, and constantly fought for Tremere's attentions and control of the clan. In the end, Etrius won. Tremere gave him the prizes that Goratrix had sought, and Goratrix got fed up. He left. He walked out one night, and he took his followers with him. Eventually, House Goratrix (the Tremere Antitribu) joined up with the Sabbat. No one knows why, for a major reason for the Tremere-Tzimisce war was Goratrix's experimentation on captured Tzimisce.

Known for: Tremere in the Sabbat? Are you kidding? The Tremere hate the Sabbat, with a hatred that is matched only by that which they feel for the Tzimisce. Says something about anyone brave/stupid enough to defect from the Tremere to the Sabbat. Now, the Spellbinders are known for being dead. Tremere himself took over Goratrix's body, and personally enacted a ritual to kill off all of House Goratrix. Bye-bye, Tremere Antitribu!

Postitions in the Sabbat: Well, right now, they don't hold positions in the Sabbat, because they're all dead. Before they died, however, many members of House Goratrix held whatever positions they could without pissing off the Tzimisce too much.
