All my life I have had pets. I think they are great for protection and as companion.
This is Rascal and I, he was a great friend and protector. He was my shadow as GM called him. I lost a great friend and companion when I lost him. It was love at first site and we knew we belonged together. I know I will never find the kind of bond we had with any other.
This was my goat Billy with my grandson David. He thought he was a dog, it was always fun watching Billy play with the dogs. I remember him getting in the house once when the dogs came in. We had to chase him down and catch him to get him out. Billy was quite a character. A mountain lion killed him.
This is bear, he sure wasn't a cute puppy. He is suppose to be Shepherd and Rotti. I adopted him from the pound. He was going to be put down and I couldn't let that happen so I brought him home. I was ready after 6 months to have a friend and companion again
Meet Cody, he's a labador cross. Cody always has to have something in his mouth. I got him in front of the grocery store, a young man had a box full of puppies. Cody was setting there watching every thing while his brothers and sisters was sleeping.
I got Cody after Bear started having problems with his hind quarters, I thought I was going to lose him and Cody needed a home.
Bear and Cody all grown up. Bear and Cody are good and give very little trouble.I feel safe when Gene's gone with these fellows with me
Here is GM baby setting Dasiey our daughters baby pig. In about 6 to 8 months, daughter will have her butchered and processed. Pax the black and white cat belongs to my oldest grandson. Pax has turned into a good hunter. Prescious the grey striped cat belongs to my youngest grandson. Prescious is more of a lover than a hunter. I adopted the cats when the grandsons went back to Alabama and there dad moved back home.
Here we have hotrod and his dog Daisy. We all adopted Daisy, since hotrod isn't home much.
