11 Jan 2003 You win, Allison & BJ!! Went dress shopping today w/ Allison just for the heck of it. We went to this little place in the Carlsbad Plaza..Allison's mom said it was called Pat & Oscar's, but it was actually across from Pat & Oscar's. That woulda been funny - "Where'd you get your dress?" "Pat & Oscar's" =P Anyway, they didn't really have anything there so we went to this other store in the mall called Xpression. I saw this yellow dress (don't worry, it wasn't neon yellow or anything awful like that!) and I didn't think it would fit, but I tried it on anyway and ended up falling in love with it! (probably because it actually looked decent!) Seriously, though, I liked it soo much..I'm not really into slinky dresses (my hips stick out too much =P), I like dresses that flow out at the waist and this one was like that. Allison said I looked like a princess (liar!), but I was satisfied with the way it looked =D I didn't have enough money on me to get it, but hopefully I'll be able to go back and get it soon..I'll be SO disappointed if it's gone! So anyway, your plan worked, I'm going to ASB Ball now! Just gotta find a date, but if not I'll just hang out with Stacy and that'll be fun, too =) I just got back not too long ago from "Maid in Manhattan" - such a cute movie! Afterwards we all hung out at the tables in front of Jamba Juice and caused a ruckus, fun =D Got church tomorrow. Started going to First Baptist last Sunday. There's a few people there that I know that I only see/talk to occasionally, but they're cool =) and I just found out that Charisse goes there, too (she went to the other service last week) so I'll get to see her tomorrow as well =D

10 Jan 2003 yay! Friday! This weekend is gonna be so GREAT 'cuz I have almost no hw so I can relax and play the whole weekend =P I saw "Gangs of New York" tonight w/ Tina, Nikki, & Steven. It was..uh...really gory! Ten minutes into the movie, it was already the bloodiest thing I've ever seen. All in all, I guess it was okay. Better than I had expected it to be. And at least I get extra credit in APUSH for watching it =) That was actually the first rated-R movie I've seen in the theaters. I never had anyone to go with before who could get me in, except my parents, but they usually wait till movies are out on video before they watch them. Anyhow, since Tina is now 17 (!) she bought all the tickets and we got in okay. I got Jamba Juice last night! So I was FINALLY able to satisfy my ongoing craving from almost a year ago =D (yup, I haven't been to Jamba Juice in a LONG time!)

03 Jan 2003 hw sucks!!!!!!

29 Dec 2002 I'm almost done completely updating my site =D exactly one week left of break! :( I played Scrabble last night for the first time in 5 months or so...I still got it; "Scrabble Master" for life! I went over to Janice's house today. I was talking last week about how I had bought The Lord of the Rings video and I was gonna watch it and Janice invited me to her house to watch the DVD. It really makes no difference to me whether it's VHS or DVD but I said "okay" and anyway I went over and turns out Janice wasn't listening to me (!:-p;-) and she had thought that I was planning to rent the video because I haven't seen it, but when she found out I've seen it 5 times we decided to watch Shallow Hal instead. It was better than I expected, but I don't know that I'd recommend it. I stayed for dinner - her mom makes the BEST asian food ever!! and then me, Janice and Connie (her 11? yr old sister who enjoys chatting with strangers online and seeing how mad she can make them =-0) plopped down in front of the TV. We were watching the Disney channel, but then Connie changed it to South Park....BiG difference!! I'd heard stuff about that show back in 6th grade (!! so long ago!!) when it was THE craze, but that was the first time I've actually seen it for myself. Let's just say that South Park has now replaced SpongeBob Square Pants on my list of TV shows I can't stand =/ After 5 minutes I couldn't take it anymore so I got them to switch it back to the Disney channel *breath of fresh air* Oh, we watched the last half of Scooby Doo...that movie wasn't as good as I hoped, but Matthew Lilliard is a good Shaggy =) anyway, I didn't really do anything else today except go to church in the morning. I'm kinda disappointed - when we first started going to that church back in July I LOVed it, I heard all these new songs that I liked so much, the style of music was so cool, but now they've kinda changed their style so I don't like it as much as I did before.

21 Dec 2002 As of 20 mins ago, I've made it my goal to have this site completely updated by the end of winter break. Too bad the teachers all piled on the hw, I have a feeling it won't get done...for a while =/ Some days I wake up and I think "I don't wanna do anything today" and today was one of those days. I had to, though, cuz in the morning my family was taking portraits at Sears. The last time we took family pictures was about 5 years ago so it was long overdue. I just wanted it to be over with cuz i hate! taking pictures (haha, Allison knows *wink*) but it ended up being kind of fun! The lady was really nice and she kept posing us in all these weird/funny ways. I must say, though, that the pictures (SOME of them) came out alright; they were actually some of my better ones (which doesn't say much, but all the same...) Anyway, the whole process took an hour or so so naturally I was starving! afterwards. We got Jack in the Box on the way home..since I was in one of those "lazy days, don't wanna go anywhere" moods I stayed home and watched TV for most of the day (I know, I know - bad) I watched Lord of the Rings/The Fellowship of the Ring so now I'm all pumped and I can't wait till I go see The Two Towers with all my old church pals who I haven't seen in ages =D I caught up on my watching the Disney channel..ya know all those Lizzie McGuire & Even Stevens episodes that I've missed since school started. I just finished watching Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood not too long ago. Depressing movie! I can't decide whether or not I like it. I'm not sure how I wrote so much seeing as I didn't really do anything today. yay! winter break!!

20 Dec 2002 yay! winter break is finally here! today was such an awesome day =D Tina loaded me with Monsters Inc paraphanelia and Thomson was my Secret Santa and he gave me another talking Mike Wazowski doll =D=D ..chem is sooo boring!! but at least i'm getting really good at drawing *wink* we had a party in APUSH and i actually didn't eat...much ! Mrs.DJ's 5th period class didn't get a party :( but her 6th period did. It's okay, though, cuz I got out of Spanish to go to the band room and then Charisse came from Mrs.DJ's 6th period to the band room and grabbed me and Nikki (ah! trying to get used to calling you that!!) and then we all went back to Mrs.DJ's 6th period and ate. Mrs.Dj's 6th period is too QUIET! so we all went back to the band room and took Janice with us. Since it was the last day before break we all had to clean it up and stack the chairs, etc. And someone was even vacuuming so as Janice said, "it felt like home"..although the band room is already a second home cuz of all the time we spend there! It's so awesome having independent study/Spanish 7-8 6th period cuz then I get to wander around campus =) Anyhow, we really gotta get around to planning Tina's surprise birthday party!! We can use all the help we can get..so far the only suggestion we have is "Pin the nose on Bush" (btw, thanks, Janice ;-) but i think we need a little more than that! ohh, check out "Drumline" - it's such an awesome movie!

09 Dec 2002 Well, little by little i'm getting around to updating this. I spent half an hour, roughly, searching for an Alvin & the Chipmunks picture to put on my site but I finally settled on one i like :) The golf banquet is in about an hour...Farrell's - yay =D It's really cold; I can barely type because I'm shivering so much.
