Landor S is truly an exceptional sire. Again in 2006 his off-spring stood above the crowd, e.g. Loriot S who took team gold at the European Championships for junior riders under Tobias Meyer, his two sons Lord G and Loup Garou who both placed with the best in Spruce Meadows or Lobster who was second in the Grand Prix of Rastede as well as numerous other advanced level horses in international sport.

Twelve of his off-spring qualified for the 2006 Bundeschampionat and more than 30 of his sons have been licensed so far. An extremely elastic jumping young stallion was licensed at the Oldenburg approval and then sold to Belgium at the auction that followed. Through his son L' Arc de Triomphe he presented the Champion Stallion and the 2nd Reserve Champion in Saint Lo, France. Through the Champion Mare, Lady Madonna, who meanwhile collects ribbons in Grand Prix, Landor S is the great grandsire of the 2006 Oldenburg Champion Stallion. Two of the OS champion stallions so far have been by Landor S and in 2004 his son Lauterbach became Vice Champion of the OS approval.

A true Champion with impeccable exterieur, three outstanding basic gaits and enormous scope over fences. Landor S is consistently passing his own type, expression and ability onto his offspring who also impress with excellent rideability.

Landor S became state champion in Rastede at the age of five, and federal champion 6-year-old showjumpers in Warendorf in the following year. Furthermore, he was decorated with the VTV showjumper stallion of the year award. Numerous wins in advanced showjumper tests followed, including his becoming the winner of the Advanced Volvo Cup in Elmlohe in 1999.

He has meanwhile presented more than 30 approved sons, and even already approved grandsons, including several premium and champion stallions. At the so far four approvals of the Showjumper Breeding Association Oldenburg International, he has already twice presented the champion stallion: “Lovis Corinth” in 2002 and “Lauterbach” in 2004. At the famous Fences Auction in France, Landor S had the thus far most expensive 3-year-old showjumper sold (knocking down price of € 460,000), namely “L'Arc de Triomphe”, who was approved in Oldenburg, France and the Netherlands.

His daughters are also in the news: “Lady Madonna” became Oldenburg champion mare of 1999. At the 2002 Federal Mare Show, “Lady Heida” was awarded the champion title.
In 2004 two of his daughters became Brilliant Ring mares in Rastede, amongst them the reserve champion “Lancarina”.
His sports progeny have meanwhile had numerous successes in advanced tests and at the Federal Championships, where he is superbly represented every year. In 2003 he was the second most successful sire after the Holstein sires. In 2004 eight of his sports progeny started at the World Championship for Young Showjumpers in Lanaken. He also produced the exceptional sire Wandor van de Mispalaere, Belgian champion of the 5-year-old showjumpers.

Twelve of his off-spring qualified for the 2006 Bundeschampionat.

Landor S derives from a strong performance family, with the extremely popular and successful Landadel as his sire and the fourfold dam of stallions, the elite mare Fureida II (Heida bloodline) as his dam. Landor S' full-brother Laertes is a successful international showjumper, whilst two other brothers were approved: Landwerder (known as Silver Lining in USA) and Lagoheidor, champion stallion and SPT winner. Both stallions have meanwhile had placements in Grand Prix dressage competitions.

Landor S is accepted for the Hanoverian jumper program. He is fully approved with Oldenburg, Hannover, Rheinland, Westfalen, Bayern, Hessen, Sachsen-Anhalt, Berlin-Brandenburg, Baden-Würtemberg, France, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Belgium, Switzerland and Austria.
