Feng Shui Ceremony

Purification by Earth, Water, Air, and Fire

Feng Shui is about living in harmony with our environment, with the four primary elements of earth, water, air, and fire. Primitive and traditional cultures everywhere are conscious of the awesome power of these elemental forces.

In western terms, they then seek to evoke the cooperation of the Gnomes of the earth, the watery Undines, the airborne Sylphs, and Salamanders of the fire - all known by different names in different parts of the world.

The Hindus call them Devas. People of European descent call them Fairies. Many cultures call them Angels.

They are Nature-spirits. These (mostly) invisible life-forms of the Deva evolution find the coarse electromagnetic vibration of the electricity we use to power our civilization very difficult to be with for long periods of time.

One of the (more esoteric) reasons why so much preparation is necessary for Space Clearing work is to create as inviting an environment as possible to attract the presence of these representatives of the elemental worlds. Each type of nature spirit works in its own element.

Note that this style of Purification through the four natural elements is not to be confused with the classical Chinese five-element theory, based on cyclic progression, which is used in other branches of Feng Shui for divinatory purposes, and as a diagnostic tool in Oriental Medicine.

Feng Shui Ceremonies will (obviously) be undertaken only by
those who are interested in such matters and who are motivated to
pursue this Art even to its ceremonial applications.

The Feng Shui Ceremony
that begins on the following page
is merely suggestive.

Each practitioner must design his or her own ceremonial style
according to his or her level of training and experience.
