Can?t we just be little girls?
Without a single care
Playing with our dolls
Brushing our long hair?

Can?t we just be little girls?
No. No longer can we be
For we?ve learned
Too much, Too fast, Too young.

For we are no longer little girls?
And we can never be?
After they stripped us of our pride, our culture
Through conformity

With our innocence lost,
Raped and taken from us in our youth
we saw the world for what it was
ignorant, racist?destitute.

For the world lied to us,
And bribed us,
Saying we could play
Alongside the other little girls
A dream come true!

The mere key to finally be let in
To this Forbidden City ?
To no longer be Outsiders
of this playground
that we call America.

But we were forced to conceal ourselves
to obtain this sacred key?
and abandon true identity
Hidden behind
walls of glass
In hopes that no one would notice
That we were unlike the rest.

But all could see right through our masks
Clear and transparent
as the water we used
to wash our yellow skins white.

But?beyond that gate,
We could never be
little girls again?
For our once blinded eyes
were opened to the world
Opened to the ?innocence? not so innocent?
--For those little girls squinted their eyes to remind us of our own
--they mimicked doorbells, chimes of clocks,
professing to speak our tongue.
--they looked at our faces,
pointed and laughed
because they did not see their own within.

Were WE not little girls as well?
With the same desire to play?
To run and jump and sing together?
On that ideal day?

We WERE in fact just little girls?
Just not so little after all
For our littleness was lost,
When our innocence did fall.

OH?CAN?T WE JUST BE LITTLE GIRLS?
If only for a day?
To remember what the world seemed like
In that perfect, yet naive way?

Use to seen black and white
never any in between
waiting all the love of my life
to come into my dreams
everything is shades of gray

needing someone else to turn to
someone who could help me learn and see

Asian Pride
Asian pride is in my mind
Asian blood is in my kind

Asians for a chance
Asians have always been peaceful and kept to themselves for years,
That's because we can't lock away our fears.
Now we have larger population,
Allowing us more communication.
A new culture, new era, It's time for us to come out,
To show the world what we are all about
We all follow the teaching & beliefs of confucious and buddha,
Raised with pride, honor, respect, and charisma.
We brought up good, kind, and caring,
But 'cause of our society, Som of us changed ourselves to bad, mean, and daring.
Now asians are the talk of the news,
Us and our gangs and our kick back crew
We're the badest race to step the earth & that's a fact,
It's not white, hispanic, it's not even black
We're stereotyped, we have slented eyes and study too much,
We don't give a fuck about such and such.
Hispanics called us chinks, gooks, and fobs
They're just jealous 'cause we make fun of their jobs.
White and their KKK shit,
We ain't terrified, we ain't scared a bit.
Hispanic and their beaner gangs,
We don't give a fuck, we dont' care what they say.
Beaners try to pick on us & try to have fun,
They keep forgeting who have the bigger guns.
It's all about pride, if you asian without no pride,
You don't belong with us, you might as well step to the other side.
we have the most money & we're the smartest race,
With our brain we can control the whole place.
Though we'll never have domination,
'Cause we still have asians killing asians

My Viet Pride
My country, my pride will stay like that until I die.
We are birds that fly from coast to coast.
White and black think we are fool so I stood up with my pride.
I am the color of yellow and red I showed my fellows...
That is my blood.
We use to be the North and South but now we are East and West
To get it all we must finish the rest.
Other countries die you will see...
That we are the families to take our land

Dream
I had a dream that will never come true,
