I am the leader for Girl Scout Troop 635. I have 8 girls in my troop. I was a girl scout in my 4th grade year but my leader was not a go-getter and lost most of the girls to boredom. My niece, who is now married with a little one on the way...was a girl scout for 8 years and earned her Gold Award. Our family is very proud of her! I decided to become a girl scout leader when my daughter Amy said "Mom, I want to be a girl scout" The council said that Daisy leaders were hard to find. Girl Scouting is so important to me and my family that I decided to jump in with both feet and become a leader, that was 4 years ago!! |
Remember what I said about "both feet?". I hosted the Father/Daughter Luau in May. |
My husband Gerry and
I have been married 16 years. I have 3 children. Nicole, Amy
and
Gerry III. Nicole is in her second
Girl Scout Cadette year. Amy is in my Junior troop. Gerry aspires to be
a Boy Scout one day. We live in beautiful Southern California home of
The Queen Mary, Disneyland,
Knott's
Berry Farm and Southern California
Beaches.
I love to play on my computer learning new things and surfing the web. I also enjoy reading, it's so relaxing! I feel very fortunate to be a stay-at-home Mom where I can closely monitor my children's education and get involved in PTA activities. |
We are members of the
Long
Beach Mounted Police. We are a volunteer program for the Long Beach
Police department. We ride in various parades using our silver saddles
and golden palaminos. If the need arises we can be called for active duty.
Watch for us in the Rose Parade every year!
We are also members of the San Diego Off-Road Coalition. Our non-profit organization along with other groups, join in the fight to keep your public lands open for the safe family sport of off roading while at the same time preserving the natural environment! |

Some of my
favorite things:
My favorite color
is Purple. I love most animals but dogs are my favorite. I like all kinds
of Mexican food and I love In-n-Out burger!
My favorite part of Girl Scouting is watching the girls grow and how excited they get over new things. Oh yeah...and camping at Skyland Ranch!! |
