Coach Lester Simpson returns to Hesperia Christian School where he coached for fifteen years before moving to a private sector job. He has led the Hesperia Christian Patriots to a state record 15 straight league championships when HCS was in the Christian League from 1982 thru 1995. In 2001-2002 Coach Simpson was an assistant coach for Victor Valley High School and helped take them to the CIF quarterfinals. On January 10, 2003 the Patriots got Coach Simpson his 200th HCS win in a victory over Linfield Christian. Congratulations Coach Simpson on such an noteworthy honor! The players are excited to be the group of players that helped you achieve your 200th victory.
