Hesperia Christian Lady Patriots are defending co-champion of the Agape League and and defending champion of Div VA Southern Section. They lost all but two players to graduation. More importantly, Coach Sally Ruisch, Div VA Coach of the Year has left for Victor Valley College. First year coach Randy Howard takes over the helm from Coach Ruisch. So it remains to be seen what kind of team the Lady Patriots will have this year. It looks as if it will be a rebuilding year for the Lady Patriots. Clearly the team will be anchored by All-CIF junior Olivia Howard. Olivia has an opportunity to take this team far if she can Jordanesque bring her teammates along quickly. Sophmore Tiffany Males returns for her second year on varsity and should be much-improved. The only senior on the team is Jennifer Netzel, in her first year on varsity.

The teams in contention for winning the Agape League will be Victor Valley Christian and Apple Valley Christian. Apple Valley Christian will be led by Stacey Williams and Kaycee Clardy. Victor Valley Christian will be led by Crystina Pyle and Alyse Shibley. Gennifer Hempel will provide them a rebounding presence in the paint.
