Trevor Wagstaffe has been the starting point guard for the last three years for the varsity and started in 71 straight games. He is a good dribbler with superb field vision and excellent passing skills. He also is an outstanding defender. He is a good rebounder. He will be particularly valuable to the Patriots at the end of tight games controlling the appropriate pace for the game.
If the Patriots can get ten points a game and 5-7 assists a game from Trevor, the Patriots could go far this season. Wagstaffe got 14 points, five assists and five rebounds in HCS' victory against Pahrump Valley and 14 points against Bethel Christian this season. |
Trevor was the #16 assist leader in all divisions in Southern California according to the LA Times last season. The Patriots had only one loss last season when Trevor had 10 or more assists. Trevor again leads the team in assists this season averaging almost 4 assists a game. |
