In Hong Kong, all traffic signals have red-yellow.
Traffic lights come in two major forms.
- 8-inch lenses for red, yellow and green, without any arrows
- 8-inch lenses for red and yellow, and an arrow pointing either left, right, or straight-on *
* some intersections may have another arrow that goes on independently of the main direction: For instance red, yellow and green straight-ahead arrow can have a left or right arrow. The straight-on and right turn signals can also have red and yellow independently operating.
