Hi! Welcome to my Bible page. As I mentioned on my About Me page, I am a non-denomonational Christian. I have guestbook at the bottom, that asks some questions. Please answer them all. Also, please leave a message on my Bible Message Board, where you can leave questions or comments. If you are looking for more info on many more subjects, please go here!

I believe that you must be baptized to be saved. I believe the Bible teaches there are 5 steps to becoming a Christian. They are: You must hear the word, You must believe it, You must Repent of your sins, Confess Christ before men, And be baptized for the remission of sins.
Here are some verses to back this up:

Hears the Word
Acts 15:7 says, "After much discussion, Peter got up and addressed them: 'Brothers, you know that some time ago God made a choice among you that the Gentiles might here from my lips the message of the gospel and believe.'"

Believes the Word
Mark 16:15-16 says, "He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.'"

Repent of Sins
Acts 3:19 says, "Repent, then and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord.'"

Confesses Christ
Romans 10:9 says, "That if you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in you heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

Be Baptized
Acts 2:38 says, "Peter replied, 'Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will recieve the gift of the Holy Spirit.'"
(People may say that there is more than one baptism, but Ephesians 4:5 says, "...one Lord, one faith, one baptism..." so we know that there is only one baptism, and that it is for the remission of our sins.)
Another verse that backs this up:
1 Peter 3:21: "There is also an antitype which now saves us-baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ."

There it is. The 5 steps to becoming a Christian. If you have any questions, or comments, please email me.

I also does not believe that we should call our preacher "Reverend", "Pastor", "Father", ect. since that isn't what the early Christians did in the Bible. We do call each other "Brother" since the Paul wrote to people and called them this, for we are all Brothers in Christ. The only time someone can be like, a Pastor, is if he meets all the qualifications in 1 Timothy 3.
Here is a Bible verse to support this belief:
Matthew 23:8-10: But you, do not be called 'Rabbi'; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren. Do not call anyone on earth your father, for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ."

Here are some other verses you might enjoy:
2 Timothy 2:15: "Be Diligent to present youselves approved to God, a workman who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."

Ephesians 6:1: "Children, opey your parents in the Lord, for this is right."

Philipians 4:8: "Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praisworthy--meditate on these things."
