Hoist Bar we only got to know you in your later years.
You were more than just another stallion on the ranch.
You were a really kind horse.
Known as the ranch gentleman.
You were very special to me even though I was not your owner.
We became close as if you were mine, my husband made sure you were in during bad weather.
We watched you through your last years on earth
I now own one of your daughters.
She also has your kind and gentle traits.
She is my treasure and a part of you.
I know you are now up running with the great horses who are in our memories.
You will always be loved and in our hearts and minds.
