FOR MY MOM MARY MARGARET "CHRISTIAN" COLTON
Dec 19, 1918 to June 22, 1968

I don't know how this is going to go.
She was killed in a car wreck at the age of 49 and I never realized how really young she was.
Now that I have long passed that age is so unreal how much she did miss.

How she has missed out on her grandchildren
Even the great-grandchildren who she would have loved dearly.
I miss her every day of my life and will until we meet again.

We didn't always get along at times we were so different.
But we still loved each other even though at times I didn't show it very well.
She didn't have me but was there for me my whole life except 5 days and was my mom no matter what was said or done.

So to those of you who take your family for granted please don't.
I did and you see I never got to say I love you one last time>
Do it everyday of the rest of your life or your parents lives.
They maybe gone sooner than you realize mine was.

I am now at the age where my last remaining parent is in frail health and I take every chance to tell him I love him
So please remember life is sometimes shorter than we plan on.
So if you have a falling out make sure you don't wait to long to say your sorry it could be to late
Mom this is for you and I love and miss you everyday of my life.
