Family Manipulations

Matthew 12:
46 While he yet talked to the people, behold, his mother and his brethren stood without, desiring to speak with him.
47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee.
48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren?
49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Jesus answered as Prophet of God , Not as a son after the flesh. Had he answer other wise the People would of not recieved him as a prophet. A prophet is following God . and can not be manipulated by any, not even thier own family; In the natural, there is witchcraft in familys. Manipulations after the flesh. You find this in most every home, it is very comman, the flesh wanting to control..it is witchcraft. It can be a form of Idolitry. It is sin.
We are new creatures, born from above, now led by the Holy Spirit; Breaking free from ol carnal ties, renouncing others in LOVE, Loving them, yet not allowing them to manipulate us, we are to follow only the Holy Spirit..
We renouce others in love. As they have not headship over us. Father does. We can reasure them of our love for them, yet as we grow in Christ we learn to follow the Spirit and to fear man less and less. This is very hard on some family members, as we learn to break free in the spirit from thier control. As they early on have learn to push our buttons! And we find our self becoming moma's little son, or daughter agin, Instead of the son or daughter in Christ that we are! .
We must trust them to the Lord and pray for them. We are not responsable for thier reaction be it one of maturity or lack of it, As the case maybe, when they find no place from which to control us, thier reactions can vary from person to person.
You can renouce them in love privitely in your heart. Even husbands and wifes must do this with each other. We must break free from all Idoltry in all forms. Yet we must do so in love and follow the Spirit of Grace.
And what If they take the mark of the beast?
This is an unhappy thought but one we must consider.
Matthew 10:35
For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.
Luke 12:53
The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
