I was rudely awakened when I got drenched in water. I shook my head violently to get the water off. White Fire was laughing. “What the hell do you want?!” I roared. She giggled but then tried to become serious, “I want you to teach me the Chou Kamehameha.” “Your not strong enough…” I groaned. She then broke down laughing, “You should’ve seen your face!” I groaned and put my pillow over my head. “Wake me up in seven hours…we’ll see if I want to by then.” She giggled as she left my room. I fell asleep…
SEVEN HOURS LATER
A sharp pain went through my side as I felt the force of a kick. I looked up to see White Fire. “Damn woman! Let me sleep!” I mumbled loudly. She then dragged me out of bed. My head thumped on the floor. “Your going to teach me no matter how sleepy you are.” She said. I smacked her hand and she let go. “Let me get a freakin’ jacket on, ok?” I said and stood up. “Why are you making excuses!” she yelled. “It’s cold!” I yelled back. I put on my jacket as she grabbed an energy absorbing droid. We walked into the training room. Ten minutes later we reached the room. I then turned on the droid and kicked it to the other side of the room. I explained to her the basics. Ready stance…arms slowly moved to side then back while saying Kamehameha…and gathering energy. I thought it was easy but she just kept on unleashing duds. “Kamehameha!” She shouted and thrusted her hands forward. A little flame popped up and then vanished with a “thp”. I groaned and shook my head. She was about to do it again but I grabbed her hand. “Watch me…ok?” I told her and stepped forward. I closed my eyes and got in the stance. I then powered up and opened my eyes. A blue aura radiated off of me. The dust on the ground, rolled away from me and White Fire took a step back, shielding her eyes. “Kamehameha!” I lunged my hands forward and…a little flame popped up and…”thp”. “Oh! Is that what I have to do? Well I might as well have mastered it!” White Fire announced sarcastically. “Shut up…something must be wrong…” I trailed off. “Riiighhtt…and this “something” must be that you’re just “weak” at the moment.” She smiled. I raised an eyebrow. “Testing…” I launched a fireball at her. Her eyes widened and she ducked and covered. But the blast just fizzled out. “Yep…must be the atmosphere.” I said, scratching my chin. SMACK! “Whats the big idea?! Trying to nuke me! I should kick your ass!” White Fire yelled as her handprint faded off my cheek. “I was testing, you twit!” Shou voice blared over the intercom, “Hey Soul…I think you should check this out…” White Fire crossed her arms and stook her chin up, “Hmph…I guess I’ll let this slide you…where’d you go?” She said, bewildered. Luckily for me, I was already at the bridge. “What the hell is that?” I asked. The computer voice kicked in and said, all dull-like, “This is a ship graveyard. Many ships are towed here our have appeared here in an unknown way. The dampening field is that no one can destroy the area.” I rolled my eyes. “Thanks for the dictionary quiz…damn your lame…we really need to get this ship a personality.” I said and then my eyes widened. “Oh no we’re not. I know the computer is boring but we need to stay on time if you want to catch up with Fire.” Shou said. Just then White Fire then came running in. She looked out the window at the graveyard. “What the hell is that?” She asked. The computer then repeated itself. Shou and I had blank faces on. White Fire looked at us. “Did I miss something?” She asked. “Ok, we’re going in to get a personality.” Shou said. “It’s about time you get one.” White Fire said. I chuckled. “Just go wake up Kusanagi!” Shou grumbled.
After finding out the dampening field made the air breathable, we hopped on top of a ship. White Fire decided to stay behind in the ship. Guess she doesn’t like space. Kusanagi yawned. “All right, we split up. Each of us will take a ship.” I declared. Shou’s eyes widened. “Duck!” He yelled and we ducked. Except for Kusanagi who was hit by a giant meal pipe. Kusanagi floated back and slammed into a ship hull. The green humanoid smiled and clicked his fingers. Ten more appeared but they where different colors. “Watch out, they’re bio warriors. Fire must have left them here.” I said. There was a line of light across the green ones torso. It ripped apart as the bio fluid floated in space. Kusanagi whipped his arm to the side, getting the blood off his forearm blade. “Lets waste em’.” He said with a smile. One lunge at my head from behind but I moved my head to the side and brought the back of my fist into his face. Shou grabbed another’s arm and continued to kick it in the chest. Kusanagi was just hacking and slashing. Then absorbing. Shou kicked an oncoming one to me. I grabbed it by the head and shoved it into a ship. I looked up to see twenty of them. They all pounded onto me and went into the ship. “Soul!” Shou called. Suddenly he was kicked across the face and being pummeled. Kusanagi soared by and sliced the attackers in two. “You ok?” he asked. Shou nodded. “We should go help…” Shou started but then bodies of bio warriors came crashing out of the ship. I hopped out of a hole and landed next to Shou and Kusanagi. “Where is the rest of them?” Kusanagi asked as I sheathed my sword. “A little here, a little there…” I smiled. Shou shrugged and said, “We better get done with this before more show up. I personally don’t feel like beating up on weaklings.” Kusanagi smiled, “Same here.”
I leapt onto a floating platform and continued hopping along. Shou and Kusanagi took the lead. As they continued I stopped and noticed a glint of something inside a ship. I floated over to it. I grabbed a bar and threw myself in. It was a dead body…not human though. There was something around its neck. I grabbed it and yanked it off. The head came apart and I shrugged. It’s a journal or something. I pressed the button. A screen appeared above it showing the alien. Luckily I had a translator and I whipped it out. “I have finally completed it! The most advance AI in the galaxy! Lets see the poogar losers try and beat me now…Whats this?” There was a crash and the screen went scribbly. “Bummer…Whats AI?” I asked curiously. “Artificial Intelligence, you dumbass!” Kusanagi yelled. I spinned around and smiled, “Oh…Then we found what we came for!” I exclaimed. “No, we have to find out if this is the right ship. This body might have floated here.” Kusanagi said and rolled his eyes. I phased next a computer and started hitting the eject buttons. The circuits started to fry and burst. “Opps…” I mumbled. “You moron! Take cover!” Kusanagi yelled, wide eyed. We ducked behind some beams and covered our heads. The machined then puffed up smoke and ejected a small disc. Then in a low, deep, computer voice, the computer said: “AI…ejec…ted.” IT then blew up as I caught the small disc. “Whats going on?” Shou said, flying in. “Found what we came for!” I smiled and jumped over Kusanagi, back out into space. I put the disc in my pocket when I saw hundreds of bio warriors. “We got company.” I smirked. Shou and Kusanagi hopped out as well. “Shall we give them a little taste of our ‘powers’?” I laughed. Kusanagi laughed along and Shou rolled his eyes. I positioned for a Kamehameha. Shou put his hands together and positioned them in front of his chest. Kusanagi cracked his knuckles and clenched his fists. Red energy poured from his hands. Electricity formed into Shou’s hands while an energy ball gathered into mine. “Kamehameha!” I thrust my hands forward, as the energy exploded from my hands. Shou grunted and clapped his hands. Lightning and Kamehameha whisked toward the crowd of enemies. They stopped and tried to retreat. Kusanagi then pointed his fists at them and shot a gigantic energy beam. The three attacks collided and exploded into the mass of bio warriors. I dusted my hands as a giant gust of air (if any) blew past me. Even with the dampening field our powers where still strong. “That was fun…lets go.” Shou said and flew toward our ship. Kusanagi and I gave each other a high five and then followed Shou. Lets see what this ‘AI’ can do…
After awhile of messing with the controls, I finally was able to put in the damn CD. The main screen bleeped a few times, then the voice of the usual computer was completely different. “Hi!” A young girl’s voice echoed through the halls. Then a holographic image appeared next to me. “My names Tessa. What yah need?” she asked. She looked about eighteen, in a white dress and with pink hair. She also wore a strange looking hat with her name branded on it. But I guess I shouldn’t go into more detail since it’s a damn hologram. “Uh…nothing, just seeing if you’re…functional.” I said, a little shocked by the kindness. She smiled, “That’s cool then. According to your ship records you’ve guys had quiet a lot of fun in space.” Tessa said. White Fire rolled her eyes. “I’ll be in my quarters if you need me. You boys have fun…” she said and stomped. Tessa glared at her but Shou seemed to be the only one to see it. Kusanagi tried to poke at it but my finger went right through. “Whoa…trippy.” Tessa tapped her foot. “Do you mind?” Kusanagi sneered and left. Shou, without word, left as well. “Hey, come on, this is great!” I smiled. Tessa smiled back and appeared by the main computer. She began to type, but the hologram just appeared that way. “Well, she is close enough to human for me.” I mumbled. “What are you doing?” I asked next. “Head on a course out of the junkyard and after the android Fire.” Tessa said. “Cool, well its nice to meet you and welcome aboard. I’ll be taking a nap so I’ll see you around.” I smiled and left. Tessa then turned and glared. “Seems like this crew needs an attitude check.” She then snickered evilly and scribbled out.
3 HOURS LATER
Kusanagi stretched out on his bed and yawned. “Well, I had my fun, to bad that was a wasted effort on a happy-go-lucky AI unit.” Kusanagi sighed. He got up and scratched his ass with one of his spikes. He then picked up some darts off the ground and tossed them at a dartboard. Naturally making a bulls-eye. When he threw the next one, Tessa appeared right in front of the board. The dart went through and hit the wall. “What?” Kusanagi asked. Tessa smiled and scribbled out. “Brand new and it’s already acting funny.” Kusanagi groaned. Then the ground started to moan and twist. “What the fu…” But before he could finish his sentence, wires and cables burst from the ground and wrapped around Kusanagi. He struggled to get free, but they held on tight. The cables pulled him under and the steel ground folded back up.
“I can’t believe we wasted our time for that stupid piece of junk…” White Fire said to Shou. Shou looked around and his ears perked up. “Something is wrong…” He said to White Fire as they walked down the hall. They stopped as a moaning sound came from all around. “Whats wrong? Is the ship falling apart?” White Fire asked, in a fighting position. “No…something is moving.” Then a thick cable came from the ceiling and wrapped around Shou’s neck. Followed by more cables that started to lift him up. White Fire started to pull them off but more cables and wires came from the walls and slammed her close to the wall. By then Shou’s foot was pulled through the ceiling. White Fire stretched out her hand but that was pulled into the walls as well. Just then, Soul came walking around the corner, whistling. He then looked at the wall where White Fire’s hand was. He looked closely…then dusted the spot off. “This ship is too dirty. We need a cleaning thing. What do you think Tessa?” Soul asked. “That’s a good idea.” Her voice said from a speaker. Soul smirked and continued to walk to his quarters.
I looked around and scratched my head. “Where the hell are you guys?!” I yelled out. “It seems they are trying to ignore you.” Tessa said. “Maybe, but they have been gone for an hour…where the hell…oh no…” I grimaced as a telepathic message was sent. Soul, you dumb ass! We’re in the cargo! Help us! Aahhh... “Damn it White Fire…” I mumbled. “Whats wrong?” Tessa asked. “Nothing, I gotta go to the cargo bay.” I said and flew down the halls. “I don’t think you should…” Tessa said. “Why not?” I said, landing in front of the doors. “Cause…” she said innocently. I raised an eyebrow and pressed a button to open the doors. They didn’t open. “Oh, come on. Whats going on?” I yelled and pried open the doors with my hands. To my horror, Kusanagi, White Fire, and Shou where all strung up like reject puppets. White Fire was constantly being pumped full of electricity and Shou was being stabbed to death by sharp wires. Kusanagi appeared to be drugged…but he looked like he was enjoying it so I didn’t care much. Sparks flew from wires. “Oh, hell no!” I roared. I flew up to White Fire and pulled her down from the shocks. I turned my back to the wires so she wouldn’t take any more damage. I then rushed up to Shou and sliced the wires to cut him down. I caught him and slung him over my shoulder. I landed on the ground and set them down as electricity and pointy cables attacked my back. I winced, “That’s gonna leave a mark.” As I felt a cable go through my shoulder. I pushed back out and put an energy barrier around Shou and White Fire. I then went to get Kusanagi. He seemed to be enjoying himself, drugged off his ass, so I slapped him and pulled him from the cables. I set him by Shou and pushed power into the energy barrier. The cables and wires tried to press through. Tessa had some how made the ship very strong. In the door way I saw Frogo, wide-eyed in terror. “Damn it Frogo, do something! I can’t keep this up forever!” I yelled. He became calm and nodded. He hopped toward the bridge. “I’ve left our fate in the hands of a frog…we’re gonna die. Well, Im not, you guys probably will.” I smirked but Kusanagi slapped me as the others moaned in pain. Meanwhile, Frogo was hopping as fast as he could untill he entered the bridge. “Bad frog!” Tessa’s voice boomed. Frogo jumped in surprised and did his best to avoid the wires trying to grab him. He hopped onto the CD ROM, where Tessa was installed. He looked around in fear as the wires started to surround him. He got so scared that he pist himself. It leaked into the controls and started to malfunction with Tessa’s program. It shocked Frogo, sending him flying out of the bridge. Back in the cargo hold, the wires and cables slipped back into the ground, ceiling, and walls. “Whoa…the dumb frog actually did it.” Kusanagi mumbled. I let down my energy barrier and smiled. “Im so sorry, Mr. Summoned.” Tessa’s voice said. I put up the barrier as her image appeared. “I don’t think so…Im not falling for that trick.” I said. “But it was bad programming. It isn’t my fault…you installed me into the system wrong.” She pouted, putting her hands on her hip. Everyone looked at Soul. “What? Ok, ok, I probably should have read the little information things…” he said, letting his barrier fall. Just then he got pummeled by all three of them. They left just as Frogo came waddling in. I got up, dazed…Frogo croaked. “That’s the last time I help you…Ow…my antennae...” Frogo’s voice came from the speakers in the cargo hold. My eyes widened. “I decided to translate him for you…it’s the least I can do.” Tessa said all perky like. “I have to go make repairs for the damage…see you later!” She said and phizzled out. I looked at Frogo…”So...you wanna go get something to eat?” I asked, getting up. “Sure. Do we have any watermelon?” He said and hopped onto my shoulder. I laughed and the cargo bay doors closed as we left…
Somewhere in the reaches of space…was a power growing endlessly. The small ship with this immense power was following…following the Ender. “I will wait for the moment to attack…and you will DIE, Soul Summoned!” A mad voice cackled but it was only heard by the stars…not able to warn Soul of his enemy; CRUSHER!
