Dawn
The world awaits with excited expectation Holding its breath to bring forth with elation Dark releases its hold and light begins to display Softly at first the birds tune up their voices As each feathered fellow starts to rejoice The sky is illumined with every color and hue All nature sings praise to the Father as is His due Animals awaken, flowers unfold The beginning of a new day so wondrous to behold Holds forth a promise of a new start To one and all who will do his part The trees and the flowers all seem to shout Reach out, take hold, give up all your doubt The Fathers love is waiting to spawn Within each person a brand new dawn By: Ann Martin June 8, 2001
