As easy to do as sing. Yet most of us forget, Our time with God isn’t spent. We keep ourselves from our Lord, Something we simply cannot afford. It only takes a little time, Doesn’t even cost us a dime. It is time well spent, A good way to prevent, The many mishaps of each day With a little prayer we allay. The Father up above Wants so much to give His love. But if we don’t with Him spend A little time, we will suffer in the end. And so each morning as you rise, A little prayer you should comprise.
