On a cosmic level, As represents the primal vibration of existance. It denotes the creative power of the word and hence widom itself. It is most powerful when connected to call spells. |

It is the 'death rune' of Teutonic magick. Because it is sometimes used as a sigil denoting a person's death. It can be used defensively, as protection at the expense of others. |

Water
Ior symbolizes those unavoidable hardships with which we must come to terms with. Magickally, Ior is a binding rune of great power. |

Element(s): Earth
Ear represents the soil of the earth. It is symbolic of the grave, the termination of life. Magickally, Ear brings or accelerates the inevitable end-point. |

Calc stands for the natural conclusion of a process. Hence it represents the successful conclusion of a working. It may also be used in contacting absent friends or the departed. |
