Woke up alone this morning
Wished you were here this morning
Maybe then I'd have a moments piece
Of your space
I think I've done enough
Worrying for the both of us

Alone was written in the summer of 1997 when Kaylub was visiting friends and relatives in Regina Saskatchewan. He had been living in BC for a year now and after spending some time with old friends he felt as if they had all changed. Kaylub suddenly began feeling as if everything was changing for the worse, that nothing will ever be the same. He eventually felt an insecure sense of loneliness and decided he had to vent it out. Don't you worry
Just sit back

And maybe in a perfect world
I could see you every day
Maybe in a perfect world
I could see you every day

Woke up alone this morning
Wished you were here this morning
Mabe then I'd have a moment
Of peace

Worrying for the both of us
Just sit back
Don't you worry

And maybe in a perfect world
I could see you every day
I wish I could
see you every day
I wish I could
Eat our pain away

And all the times I looked for love
There it was
Over top of my bed
Waiting inside my head
I hope you know the same thing I do
When I say I love you
All those times I went looking for love
There it was
Over top of my bed
Waiting inside my head
I hope you know the same thing I do
When I say I love you
