C O N F L A G R A T I O N
L Y R I C S
Craving times when I'd rather die
Into my visions of crimson tides
The embers dance and the passions rise
I find my place within these past crimes
So flames dance into the night
The comforting hands have grown so tight
These things shall know the harshest plight
As this fire takes it final flight

Conflagration was originally written as an instrumental but the band later decided it would be a stronger song with lyrics. The lyrical outcome was a little different than the usual Cafe Insomnia style. The lyrics tells the story of a man experiencing death but explaining the whole ordeal as a huge fire, rising taller and taller. Rather different, but than again, what isn't in Cafe Insomnia.
