I traced a path of light
I faced the path of time
And yet I fight
Yet I fight
This battle all alone
No one to cry to
No one to call home

Nutshell is actually an Alice In Chains song from their "Jar Of Flies" album. When Kaylub was travelling in the winter of '97 he stopped in Regina and got together with his old band "Fried At The Wheel". Kaylub, Mike Wright & Rob Talbot sat down and learned the song together (Modifying the lyrics a little). Kaylub was so enthralled with the moment that he was positive he had to record them playing the cover of the AIC song to have with him on the road. The 3 musicians setup a ghetto blaster, a microphone hanging from the ceiling and

My gift of self is raped
My only friend is hate
And yet I find
Yet I find
If I could be my own
I'd be better dead

strategically placed their instruments in good sound range. The sound quality is pretty damn good considering. When Kaylub returned to BC and began recording "Road To No Where" he decided he wanted the song on the album, it was just that good.
