Do you feel it?
Do you want?
Do you need all the pieces that fit?
Oh no, felt so alone
'Til you stole the show
Now I've got no place left to go

Our Stars was written solely for "Road To No Where" and was one of Kaylub's first attempts at a new style. He started the song off with a confusion of echoed accoustic guitar tracks to give an anti-climax feeling. The song is a strong message that Kaylub felt people needed to hear. We, as human beings, often despise the feeling we get when we aren't in the presence of someone we care for. We often feel hopeless

Ya, so turn down the stars
'cuz I've come home tonight
Ya so turn down the stars
And together we'll cry
Looked you in the eye
Watched a mother die
Saw a serpent call you mine
Shedding skin
Running from the sin
Remembered the love we could've been
Ya, so turn down the stars
'cuz I've come home tonight
Ya so turn down the stars
And we'll cry so right
Ya so turn down the stars
'Cuz tonight I'm in sight
Turn down the stars
One more time, 'cuz tonight we cry
Turn down the stars
Tonight's the night we don't die
Tonight, we don't die
We just cry

and as if our connection with that beautiful soul has been severed. Fret not though, there is always hope, and you need only look to the sky to find the answer to this problem. For the stars in my sky are the same stars in everyone else's sky. When we feel alone, when we feel lost, we only need speak our thoughts to the stars, I'm sure they'll give the message to the soul you wished them to reach. This of course can feel weighing at times and create anxiety inside of us. This is why, after countless years of speaking to the stars, your reunion with the desired spirit will feel a million times better. This song attempts to recreate the emotion felt at such a time, mind you, it can only recreate Kaylub's view of this emotion.
