Creeping down a never ending staircase
Always knowing the frightening faces
Voices close and voices from afar
Only refuge found in the spiraling stars

Utopia By The Pond is a hibred of times. The music had actually been written by Kaylub while in Regina Sask., just before the recording of his solo album "U-Turn". Amber Humeny heard it at the time and wanted to try writing lyrics and singing on it. Kaylub agreed and recorded her singing the track. The song was then ressurrected with the band.

Come along to a brave new land
Come with me and hold my hand
Walk down this listless song
Along my Utopia By The Pond
Utopia By The Pond
I can tell they're coming for me
Merciless to my drowning pleas
When I walk down these old pines
Hear their footsteps in my mind
Never knew what I was saying
Only knew that I was praying
For some of this to end my nightmare
A piece of bliss,
Murky yet clear
Come with me to a brave new land
Come with me and hold my hand
Walk down this listless song
Along my Utopia By The Pond
Never, Never, Never, Never
Wanted this in my song
Only wanted my Utopia By The Pond
Utopia By The Pond

Kaylub re-recorded all the music and wrote the new lyrics with Haplo before they added the new vocal tracks. The new creation was named Utopia By The Pond. The song is actually about the beauty of Peachland. So many people don't realize the intensity that exists in the small town, we had to find out the hard way that it's possible to write a thought into reality.
