R O S E
Each rose bears a thorn
As every life must someday cease
And day slides into night
As winter comes on gentle breeze
And shadows come from light
Love is often wrapped in pain
And wolves come dressed as sheep
Awareness is what must be gained
That we should not be caught asleep
Tread with caution on unknown ground
And open up your eyes
There are countless evils to bring down
If they catch you by surprise
And so be careful you've been forewarned
For upon each rose there is a thorn.
