Solo Robbie Show @Mr.T’s Tuesday December 4th Solo Robbie Show @Mr.T’s This show was really good, as always. The one song I remember the most would have to be Brownies, which is a Rudy song that rocks! It’s got kind of a blues sound to it, so it’s pretty cool. He played the two songs I had requested, one being Wish and the other being Made. Made is one of my favorite Robbie songs. He also debuted his new song called The Drain, which is very good. Monsters is a song that some of you might recognize- I love that one. He also played one called Oklahoma City Bus, which he told me was about 5 years old, but it was the first time I had ever heard it! :) lol And I liked it a lot- that song was very metaphorical.
New Orleans is another new song that he played. A very interesting song indeed. It makes you wonder sometimes, who he’s singing about? lol The show was really good and the more I listen to his music, and see him live- the more I get to know his songs and his amazing talent in writing music- lyrically and musically. I don’t think anyone could ever get bored going to see Robbie over and over again, because each show is a new experience in itself. You never know what old songs he’ll pull out to show you, or if he has just written a new song that he’s going to debut. It’s all a mystery when you go and see him- the kind of thing that you just don’t know what you’re in for until after you have seen the show.
