The Songs + Setlist
This info is what I remembered about each song while I was listening to it. I'm pretty sure this was the exact setlist, just not in the right order...
back to review
- Heroin Girl- (opener) Great as always! Art was really rocking it out on this song...
- You Make Me Feel Like a Whore- Awesome!!!
- Nervous & Weird- Woo! I had never heard this song live before so I was really excited. It was so cool... the song rocked live! :-)
- Here We Go Again- I found this song interesting because they made it sound so rock-n-roll. It sounds like a new song when they play it live. It was great!
- A Beautiful Life- (*NEW*) I loved it!! This is a great song... and I assume to be one of my favorites off the new cd. For it being the first time I had heard it, I really fell hard for it. It was awesome.
- Blackjack- (*NEW*) Another new one! yay :-) This song rocks!
- TV Show- (*NEW*) I'm pretty sure he played this one, it was hard to make out from where I was... but I liked it a lot. It made me anxious to hear the new cd. lol
- Volvo-Driving Soccer Mom- (*NEW*) All I can say about this is, Na na, Na na, Na na... :D This song was great!
- How To Win Friends and Influence People- (*NEW*) I thought this was a pretty cool new song. So far, this is second fave of my new songs... right behind A Beautiful Life. But yeah, at the show, this song kicked ass.
- Everything To Everyone- No keyboards! :-( Where's robbie!? Other than the no keys thing, the song rocked. Except that there were so many people on the floor, so no one could really jump. lol
- Father of Mine- So emotional! The people started running from the back towards the front where all the people were, to get closer while this song was being played. Everyone in the audience was conected to Art during that song. It was so amazing to see the impact of that song on all those people.
- I Will Buy You a New Life-
- The Twistinside- Woo!! Way cool!! i hadn't heard this song live and I freaked out when they started playing it. You know that awesome instrumental in the middle of this song? Well, it's so damn good live. This song rocked.
- White Men in Black Suits-
- Rock Star- (*encore*) No dancers! :*( There was no stage access and far far too many people for dancers. It still rocked though!
- Santa Monica- (*encore*, last song) A traditional everclear closing. A great ending to a great concert :D
- There was no Robbie, which meant no keyboards. There was no Basil, which meant no percussion. And Davey was replaced by Alessandro (guitarist of the Mayfield Four). So I think Art is doing some new stuff with his touring guys... but I don't think we'll be seeing our old faves with them again.
- Art said tha the new cd is going to be released in January.
