Nintendo has released new screenshots from its 3D GameCube brawler.

Nintendo has released new screenshots from Super Smash Brothers Melee for the GameCube. The new shots show Samus performing her patented bomb jump and a variety of new items including the sledgehammer. The new screenshots also show some of the weak attacks included in the game, such as throws and slams. Super Smash Brothers Melee is currently scheduled for release alongside the GameCube November 5.

Nintendo has released new screenshots from Super Smash Brothers Melee for the GameCube. The new shots show a variety of special objects that may be collected and used throughout the game. Specifically, the new shots show Captain Falcon using an umbrella to float, Link and Samus Aran fighting with lightsabers, Fox McCloud using the scope on his gun, and Ness of Earthbound fame collecting one of Link's heart containers. Super Smash Brothers Melee is currently scheduled for release alongside the GameCube on November 5.

More new screenshots from Super Smash Brothers Melee have been released by Nintendo Japan. This time, the highlighted character is Bowser. Sporting a more vicious-looking design, Bowser pounds on Fox McCloud and scares Kirby on his back in the screenshots. Super Smash Brothers Melee will be released this November. The latest batch of Super Smash Brothers Melee screens released by Nintendo highlight a variety of attacks in the game. For example, Mario is able to execute an aerial punch; Donkey Kong has a head-butt attack; and Princess Peach will float if you repeatedly press the jump button. Other characters highlighted in the screenshots include Yoshi, Pikachu, Kirby, Ness, Link, and the Ice Climbers. Super Smash Brothers Melee will be released in November for the GameCube.

Nintendo Japan has updated the official Super Smash Brothers Melee Web site with new screenshots of Ness. He will represent the Earthbound cast in the game. Super Smash Brothers Melee will be released this November for the Japanese GameCube. A specific North American release date has not been announced at this time, but we expect the game to accompany the North American launch of the console as well.
