I Got a Story to Tell...

Why I Write

I believe that everybody has a story to tell. I am no exception, as my life is filled with priceless memories that define who I am. Yet for years, these vivacious recollections were incarcerated deep within my soul. This year, however, I found the key to unlock my thoughts and set them free, running and jumping over my paper. Writing has proved to be the greatest therapy for me, a catharsis that now completes who I am. My love for writing has enabled me to achieve a greater self-understanding, and it fulfills my passion for storytelling. In college, I would love to further my writing studies, and my dream would be to publish a book of personal essays. Although I unfortunately did not discover my penchant for writing until recently, it is obvious to me that it will be my greatest passion for the rest of my life.
