What happened to the LST 857?
The LST 857 was named King County in July of 1955.
She was reclassified AG-157 after conversion to an experimental guided
missile test ship. Then was decommissioned on July 8, 1960 and sold to
a Portland, Oregon firm on April 25, 1961.
