Enemies

The Kingdom of Castille

Not the heroes deadliest of enemies but certainly the largest and the one with the most resources at its disposal. How did they get an entire nation as their enemy? Well Sebastien is a Sea Dog and Dimitri stole King Sandoval’s stock of Falici three times. Not deadly sins, just ones that’ll make sure they never see the outside of a prison after they’re captured.

Esteban Cortez y Delgado de San Marina (Castille)

Dimitri and Sebastien have endeared themselves to Esteban Delgado by escaping, and then blowing up a good portion of his boat on the way to the Isle of La Bucca. Before that he was mostly Captain Nathaniel Winters’ rival, however he has expanded his hatred to include the Heroes as well.

Rodrigo Gonzalez y Reyna de la Cruz (Castillian)

Castillian fencer who was also to be sent to La Bucca long with Sebastien and Dimitri, but after his escape he later joined forces with a freed Delgado in order to restore his name and titles.

Captain Reis

Nastiest pirate ever to sail the six seas, and Sebastien mussed up his boat with Synreth cannon. The only reason why he’s so far down the list is because it’s quite likely Reis still doesn’t know Sebastien’s name...yet.

Monique Flaubert de La Bouche (Montaigne)

Humorously next to Reis in the list is Monique Flaubert de La Bouche, the daughter of the Montaigne ambassador to Avalon, who Niccolo and Dimitri insulted, at least twice. A duel was fought over the affair and Niccolo won. She however has not given up hope of satisfaction. She would be a deadly enemy if murder weren’t so very tiresome. Fortunately she has that musketeer/suitor to do all the work for her.

Karl van Hoek (Vendel)

A powerful Vendel merchant he’s on the enemies list because well for one he’s a Vendel, and two he is competition for Princess Annabelle’s hand. He’s an accomplished swordsman and has killed rivals before therefore making him a very deadly man to cross.

Rivals

Julien de Paix

A patron of the Knights of the Rose and Cross and brother to Monique Flaubert de La Bouche, fought a duel with Niccolo over the insults to his sister’s honour and has remained a friendly rival afterwards.

Auguste d'Alroux

Captain of La Belle Claudette, a free pirate ship who had the chance encounter with Sebastien LaBoulanger. Sebastien was taken prisoner but escaped and took d'Alroux's ship captive in trade for his own. They remain rivals to this day.

Allende

The mysterious pirate who leads the Brotherhood of the Coast, beat the heroes at the Battle of Malaca. Dimitri wishes to settle the score.

The Priest of Isole d'Oro

The priest on the ship of Dimitri’s uncle Gianni Bessano left on Isole d’Oro by Gianni when he refused to let them sail away with the Hierophant’s treasure. He has since met Dimitri who recovered what was left of the treasure and like his uncle, he left him there. The priest would like to kill Dimitri, but as he’s stuck on the island, he doesn’t look like he’s going to have the chance hence why he’s only a rival not a true enemy.
