At the end of 2001, I organised a USA student work visa and got a highly sought after job as a ticket scanner at Park City Mountain Resort. Park City is about a 30 minute drive east of Salt Lake City in Utah. Check out the map if you're interested. Anyway, I had a great time, met great people, shared a 2 bedroom apartment with 7 others, saw some Winter Olympics action being held at the resort, learnt how to snowboard, went to Las Vegas and had a bloody awesome time.
