Where do you go to school Jimmy?
I go to a school called, "The Morris County Academy for Math, Science, and Engineering at Morris Hills."
What kind of school is that?
It's a school for special kids. Special as in academically excellent. There was an application process, and out of 40 possible slots, Morris County managed to fill 22 slots in the sophomore year. We're down to 17 now, due to students dropping out or failing out.
Sounds pretty harsh, why do they kick kids out?
They kick kids out so they don't hold back the group, and also because we are gaining college credits from NJIT. NJIT doesn't want failing students to be given their credits. That makes sense to me.
Where is this school exactly?
On an ominous hill behind Morris Hills High School. Right near the bus depot.
Is it true most Academy kids are failing?
Many are, while not more than 50%. I personally find it disgraceful. That's why kids drop out though, it's the most academically intensive program Morris County has to offer.
What do you do up on that hill?
In CAD we learn how to put our ideas onto paper in a standard format. We also are designing things like:
CupCake Soup
Human Sized Pinball (a group sport)
Quidditch Home Version
Have Any Pictures from the Academy?
Yes actually I'm working on an photo page.
