-fetal pig toss-
designed by mia and laurie, fishmas 2004
this amusing fishmas game requires only a few materials to play. they are:
- fetal pig shaped bean bags
- a window several floors above ground-level with no screen
- a target for the ground, or:
- distance markers for the ground
optional:
- a bucket or other container on rope or sturdy string to raise and lower bucket of thrown fetal pigs
in this game, the players gather in a room which has a high level window. for instance, for fishmas 2004, mia's room shall be used as it is on the third floor and has easily removable screens.
to play, a referee must be stationed on the ground by either the target or the distance markers. markers can be measured by actual distance or with such titles as "far", "really far", "super far", "wow, that's one good throw" and "where did the piggy go?"
players throw the fetal pig bean bags out the window and try to hit the target or see how far they can throw. points are rewarded according to the method of play.
when all the piggies have been thrown, either the referee collects them all and brings them upstairs, or for a less labour-intensive approach, and a way to potentially confuse those living beneath the room being used, a bucket can be lowered and brought back up with the piggies inside.
lather, rinse, repeat!
