4 (8 oz.) cans, minced or chopped
Saute' the onion, garlic powder, oregano, and bread crumbs in the
oil.
1 cup of Italian bread crumbs

tsps.of garlic powder
2 tbsps.of chopped onion
3 tsps.of chopped parsley
1/2 salt
8 tbsps. oilve oil
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. grated cheese
1/4 cup of butter (melted)
When the onion starts to get translucent, remove the mixture from pan.
Mix with the clams and some of the clam juice and salt.
Spoon into clam
shells.
Sprinkle with additional Italian bread crumbs and a spoonful of
butter on top of each filled shell
Place each filled shell on baking
sheet.
Cover with foil, then remove the foil the last 10 minutes, to allowing
some browning.
Bake at 350 degrees for 25-35 minutes. (Can be frozen ahead)
