DIVA'S POUNDCAKE




3 cups of sifted flour
2 tsps.of baking powder
1/4 tsp. of salt
1/2 cup of cocoa (sifted)
1 cup of butter
1/2 cup of oil
1 tbsp.of vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. of almond extract
3 cups of sugar
5 large eggs
1 1/4 of milk

Sift the flour, baking powder and cocao together, blend thoroughly.
set aside.
Cream butter, and oil with extracts, gradually add sugar, creaming thorougly
Add eggs one at a time, beating only until blended, after each addition
alternately add dry ingredients, then flour and milk into cream mixture.
Turn batter into greased 10 inch cake pan.
Bake at 325 degrees F for 1 1/2 hours or until cake tests done.
Cool on wire rack..completely.
