DIVA'S CRABS AND SPAGHETTI

1 dozen of fresh crabs (frozen is good also)
1 28 oz of crushed tomatoes
1 28 oz of tomatoe puree ( if cannot find puree,,,you may substitute tomato sauce)
1 can of tomato paste
2 tablespoons of garlic powder
2 cloves of fresh garlic
5 or 6 leafs of fresh basil (dry is alright if you cannot access fresh)
salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons of olive oil
2 1/2 cans of water (use 28 oz can to measure)

Heat oil
fry garlic till light brown
add crabs till they turn pink
add paste, tomatoes and puree
add water and seasonings, simmer on low for about 3 hours.
Cook pasta till al dente
drain
add crab sauce to pasta
(makes about 4-6 servings)
