2 LBS of fresh mussels NOTE: IF WANTED A RED SAUCE,ADD 1 CUP OF TOMATOE SAUCE,SEASONED
in a pot heat oil,add onion ,garlic and fry until onion is translucent
careful not to burn butter or garlic NOTE:IF SOME MUSSELS DO NOT OPEN DO NOT OPEN THEM OR EAT THEM
you may serve the dish over sphagetti(or pasta of your choice)
or alone with italian hot garlic bread
1/4 cup of oil of your choice
2 cloves of
garlic (mince one bottle of clam juice)
3 TBSP of butter
1/4 cup water
2 TSP of garlic powder
1 small onion chopped(optinal)
salt and
pepper to taste
add clam juice,water,and all other
ingredients
place mussels in pot
cover mussels till open
stir
