MUSSELS

2 LBS of fresh mussels
1/4 cup of oil of your choice

2 cloves of garlic (mince one bottle of clam juice)
3 TBSP of butter
1/4 cup water
2 TSP of garlic powder
1 small onion chopped(optinal)
salt and pepper to taste

NOTE: IF WANTED A RED SAUCE,ADD 1 CUP OF TOMATOE SAUCE,SEASONED

in a pot heat oil,add onion ,garlic and fry until onion is translucent careful not to burn butter or garlic

add clam juice,water,and all other ingredients
place mussels in pot
cover mussels till open
stir occasionally

NOTE:IF SOME MUSSELS DO NOT OPEN DO NOT OPEN THEM OR EAT THEM

you may serve the dish over sphagetti(or pasta of your choice)

or alone with italian hot garlic bread
